Born in Nevada, Woodland was raised in Los Angeles, California. In California, Woodland attended the University of Southern California where she majored in history. She later attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.
In addition to her credits on Y&R, Woodland previously appeared on Sunset Beach as Sarah Cummings and on ABC's Port Charles.
Woodland has also appeared in the feature films, Cover Up, Frame Up, The Doorway, Super Star, Rock-A-Die-Baby, and The 11th Commandment.
In her off time, Woodland enjoys going to the movies, playing with her dog and traveling.
