Thad Luckinbill
Genoa City Presence
August 27, 1999 to October 2002 [recurring]; November 2002, to November 5, 2010 [contract]
At A Glance
Born and raised in Enid, Oklahoma, Luckinbill attended the University of Oklahoma, where he majored in business finance. His mother, a singer, taught him to love music and during his childhood, Luckinbill developed an affinity for playing guitar. He performed singing and playing his guitar on The Young and the Restless numerous times.

Luckinbill guest-starred on several primetime series including CSI: NY, Without a Trace, Ghost Whisperer, CSI, JAG, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Providence, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Nash Bridges, Nip/Tuck, and a five-episode arc on 8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter.

Luckinbill also starred in the MTV documentary True Life and appeared in Madonna's video for Don't Tell Me as the handsome cowboy thrown for a loop and from a horse at the conclusion of the song. He appeared in the feature films Once Fallen, Home of the Brave, Sleepover, and Just Married.

When Luckinbill is not working, he enjoys playing basketball, surfing, boxing and going to the gym. He maintains close ties with his family in Oklahoma, something he credits with keeping him grounded in Hollywood. Luckinbill has a twin brother, Trent, who lives and works in Washington, DC.

He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and former co-star Amelia Heinle and their son Rowe and their daughter Georgia. But ironically as Victoria and J.T. on the Young and the Restless, they were married, had one child, then divorced.
