If you want something done right, do it yourself -- with the help of a few hundred fans. So was the mentality of former The Young and the Restless star Elizabeth Hendrickson (ex-Chloe Mitchell), who decided the best way to delve into the world of comedic acting was to write a series of her own.
Called 30 Days Max, the comedic series -- written by Hendrickson and her cousin, Melissa Lux -- is about a girl named Max, who, fresh out of a bad relationship, decides to try online dating for 30 days. "It's really, really funny," Hendrickson tells Soap Central. "And the awesome thing is that it's fan directed. Fans actually get to vote in and be a part of the story. It literally starts with them, because as I go through it... we'll have them add in little things, like what she's going to wear, who do they want to see her go out on a date with, things like that. So they're actually going to be able to have some input in it and be a part of it."
Hendrickson has launched a Kickstarter page to help with the funding of the project as well as provide an explanation of how the crowd-source content (the first for a web series) will be created.
