Fans of The Young and the Restless can seemingly be divided into two groups lately: those who like Nick Newman with Phyllis and those who like Nick with Sharon. Now, actor Joshua Morrow sits down to talk about how his character can possibly be in love with two women at the same time.

Veteran soap opera journalist Michael Fairman recently conducted an interview with The Young and the Restless' Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman). Newman, who will celebrate his 15th anniversary with the top-rated CBS soap in June, took some time out to talk about what it's like for his character to be involved with two women.

"Finally the man in the middle of all this speaks," Fairman tells soapcentral.com. "In lieu of the past few days' episodes, I know [..] Phick and Shick fans will be interested and want to read and hear the interview."

Judging by this juicy teaser from Morrow about what's ahead for Nick, fans will definitely want to jump right in.

"Lots of problems! These three [Nick, Sharon, and Phyllis] don’t mesh well together. It’s some crazy times ahead," Morrow says. "The Phick fans are not going to be happy, and the Shick fans are not going to be happy. As far as who he chooses, Nick does not have a decision yet. At some point, the guy has to make a decision."

Morrow also offers some insight into how Nick can possibly be in love with two women at once.

"He is genuinely in love with two women and he can't make a decision," Morrow reveals. "That is causing problems for both women and it's hurting everybody. Nick is not going into this with malicious intent to hurt these women."
