Y&R's Erin is cast, name changed

Alexia Robinson has secured the role of Alex on The Young and the Restless. You might be asking yourself about this new character -- that was reportedly previous to be going by the name "Erin."
Little is known about the character, except that the part was created to fill the void left by Drucilla's (played by Victoria Rowell) departure.
Robinson is no stranger to daytime television. For four years (1990 to 1994), Robinson starred as Meg Lawson on
General Hospital. More recently, she's appeared in the primetime soap,
Savannah as Cassandra Wheeler.
Two other daytime favorites are said to have tried out for the role including Lauren B. Martin (ex-Camille,
As The World Turns) and Sherrie Saum (ex-Vanessa,
Sunset Beach).
