Jill inadvertently lets the cat out of the bag about Jack's plans for Jabot to Brad and Brad doesn't like it. Nikki and Brad go on a date and they are seen by Cole. Back at the ranch, Nikki and Brad share a romantic dance. Tricia thinks that she is pregnant. Neil accuses Callie of breaking up Malcolm's marriage. Grace tries to get Tony and Megan back together.

Katherine decides to go to India to look for Brock. Nick and Sharon make a happy announcement, but it isn't good news to Vicki. Tricia and Ryan go to the doctor for another ultrasound. Ramona sends Victor a fax and Brad makes a copy to show to Nikki.

Olivia hires a lawyer. This news is upsetting to both Malcolm and John Silva. When Malcolm confronts her, it only strengthens her resolve. Katherine returns to GC and wrestles with the decision whether to tell Mac about her father or not. Mac reassures her with the news that she has returned to school---for the time being. Billy almost moves back in with his mother. Victoria and Cole kiss; Cole seems to read more into the act than does Vicki. Brash and Sassy is going great guns; Vicki is even receiving fan mail---one in particular intrigues her. Diane receives surprising---and disturbing---medical information about Victor, but when she tries to inform him, he insults her from one side to the other. Now, Diane wonders just what she can do with the information that will hurt Victor the most. Just as Nikki is about to make up with Victor and try again, she learns something that pushes her out the door in a huff. Victor gets a call from someone that could change his future.

Megan proposes elopement to Tony after he refuses to spend the night with her, thus taking their relationship to the next level. Tricia overhears Megan's plans to ask Tony to marry her and conspires with Grace to break up the relationship before it is too late. Katherine learns that Brock is considered dead. While trying to comfort her, Jill says the wrong thing and Katherine loses her composure. Mac and Raul talk. Mac shares her long held desire to know her father. She says that she thinks that her grandmother went looking for him. Billy watches as Raul and Mac kiss. Later, Katherine has the unenviable chore of telling Mac that she will never meet her father. Victoria suggests that it is time Victor ask Nikki to marry him. He plans a romantic dinner with plans to pop the question. Ashley makes plans with Cole to celebrate the finishing of his novel at the Colonnade room. On her way to the Colonnade room, Nikki and Diane meet in Gina's and words lead to a brawl. When both Cole and Nikki are late for their own parties, Ashley and Victor keep each other company. Nina and Tomas meet and get friendly. He wishes her luck when she goes to mail the manuscript of her novel in to a publisher.

Victor plans a romantic evening with Nikki; he even asks a wedding consultant to drop by the Colonnade room where they are dining. On her way to the Colonnade room, Nikki stops by Gina's where she gets into a brawl with Diane. Later, dressed in a different gown, she arrives at the Colonnade room, late, to find Victor holding Ashley's hand. Ashley has been stood up by Cole who is entertaining Vicki, Nick and Sharon at the tack house. Nikki is cold to Victor during the evening, picking fights with each word he says. She finally gets up and leaves saying that there is no hope for them. The wedding consultant chooses this time to arrive and Victor throws him out saying that he no longer has a need for him. Cole arrives home full of apologies but Ashley says that they will start fresh in the morning. She goes to work and spends the night in the lab. The next day, she and Cole talk about their marriage and Ashley says she has an idea which will solidify their marriage. She wants to have a baby. Tony gives Megan a key to his apartment but Tricia steals it and goes to have a copy made. She and Grace have concocted a plan that will break up the couple and it requires their getting into the apartment while it is empty. Malcolm insists on attending the first meeting between the two attorneys on the divorce case. Michael mentions that there will be no formal visitation clause in the divorce and Malcolm goes ballistic and almost attacks Michael. John has to postpone the meeting so that he can drag his client out of the room. Olivia is surprised at Malcolm's display of temper and thus falls further under Michael's spell. ay has to tell Mac that her father is dead. She worries that now Mac will have no reason to stay in GC. Jill reaches out to her and offers her comfort. She tells Kay that she did all that she could to find Brock for Mac and it isn't her fault that it turned out the way it did. She assures her that Mac will come to her and they can have a heart to heart talk. Mac opens up to Billy, telling him that losing her father without ever seeing him hurts more than she could ever imagine. Haunted by memories of her son, Kay is driven out of the house. But as she opens the door to leave, she sees an apparition and faints dead away.

Tricia and Grace put their plan for separating Megan and Tony into action and it just may have worked. Mac can't seem to reconcile with the fact that her father is dead. Unaware that her father, Brock, is really alive and in Genoa City, she disappears. Billy, Raul and Kay think she has left town again but in reality, she is staying the night with Nina. Ashley suggests to Cole that now is the time to start a family but Cole has to think about it. The Abbotts are set to expand their cosmetics line to include a teen line by Christmas even though they know that it will be risky and costly. Brad suggests to Vicki that they expand their teen line to include a full line of women's cosmetics---by Christmas. She disagrees but her father likes the plan. She threatens to quit if he messes with Brash and Sassy. Victor tells Nick how he plans to get his revenge on Jack Abbott and expanding the cosmetics line will work for them. He then makes Nick a Newman board member. Ashley runs into Nikki and they have a confrontation in which Nikki suggests that Ashley can't get over Victor. Ashley realizes something important about Nikki. She lets Nikki know that she and Cole are planning a family. Brad visits Diane and finds the letter from the laboratory.

Nikki plans her wedding and Laird Worthington goes to see Gina. Their conversation is overheard by Brad and Diane. Open mike night is almost a disaster at Crimson Lights but Billy and Raul save the day---errr night. Cole gets an offer to teach at his alma mater in London and Ashley refuses to go with him after he tells her that he won't have a baby with her. Ashley learns that Vicki talked to her husband about having a baby; Ashley slaps Vicki in the middle of Gina's. Jill prepares to have a talk with Brock about Mac. Nina gets her third rejection from publishers. Brad goes to see Nikki and hands her the letter.

Victor goes to Jabot and issues Jack a dire warning after he learns that Jabot is coming out with a new teen line. Grace confesses to Tony and Megan then leaves town. Nikki decides to give Victor one more chance, at Katherine's urging, but when she gets to the office, she finds Ramona caressing Victor's hand.
