Fans of all nine daytime dramas have cast their votes for the best of their individual soaps. Now the winners in some 17 categories will battle it out to be named the Best of the Soaps in this year's Dankies Awards. The announcement of these winners comes as this year's Daytime Emmys nominees will be announced later in the week.
Over the past several weeks, soap fans from around world -- Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, at least according to our records -- took time out to cast their votes in

.com's Dankies Awards. The Dankies, named after
soapcentral
.com founder Dan Kroll, are the only awards that allow soap fans to determine both the nominees
and the winners in a variety of categories ranging from Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress to Least Favorite Storyline and Favorite Couple or Duo.
Now after thousands and thousands of votes have been cast and tabulated, the final ballot for the Best of the Soaps is online and ready for your final vote. The ballot, which features a single nominee from each soap in every category, was revealed on the eve of the announcement of this year's Daytime Emmys nominations.

The links will take you directly to a page of results for this year's voting. There you can review each of the pre-nominees for each soap or browse through the results of previous years' Dankies.
