Original Cast Members Metcalfe, Stanton Exit This Month

Jesse Metcalfe (
Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald) and
Molly Stanton (
Charity Standish) will exit the show later this month.
Earlier this year, the actors announced in separate statements that they would not be renewing their contracts when they expired. Rather than recast both roles, Passions execs announced that they would write out both characters.
"Jesse's decided not to renew his contract," a show spokesperson said in a statement. "He's going to pursue other projects and we wish him the best of luck."
Both Stanton and Metcalfe have been with Passions since the show's debut in July 1999.
Stanton makes her final Passions appearance on July 22nd. Metcalfe bows out a few days later, on July 26th.
