Model Tapped As Passions' New Chad

The search for a successor to
Donn Swaby (
Chad Harris) is over. A Passions spokesperson has confirmed that former model Charles Divins will take over Swaby's role later this year.
For Divins, a native of Dallas, Texas, his debut on Passions will also mark his first foray acting. Divins has graced the pages of fashion magazines such as Cosmopolitan, GQ, Gear, and Glamour. He has also appeared in an advertising campaign for Tommy Hilfiger.
Swaby announced
earlier this summer that he planned to exit Passions when his contract expired. Swaby will focus on primetime television, feature films and theatre.
Divins tapes his first Passions episodes on August 8th. He will make his on-air debut on September 12th.
