Schuldt Opts Not To Renew Contract

In a message on his official web site,
Travis Schuldt (
Ethan Winthrop) informed his fans on his official web site that he had decided not to renew his contract with the show.
"The toughest decision is leaving the Passions family," Schuldt wrote. "I will truly miss everyone I have worked with. It's about wanting to go out and try something different."
After leaving Passions , Schuldt plans to pursue film and primetime television roles. He also plans to do more work with his LoneStar Ensemble theatre group.
A Passions spokesperson confirmed Schuldt's announcement, saying, "We wish Travis the best in his future career."
While no final airdate has been announced, Schuldt's contract does not expire until May. It's more than likely that Schuldt will continue to air through June. According to a show spokesperson the role of Ethan will be recast.
