Ryan McPartlin Daytime newcomer is the new Hank

by Dan J Kroll

The search for a new Hank Bennett is over.

Daytime newcomer Ryan McPartlin will be joining the cast of Passions as Hank next month. The role of Hank was vacated earlier this year when the writers decided that it was time to take the character in a new direction. That decision left Dalton James, the creator of the role, out of the picture. James' last appearance was January 10th.

While his experiences in the field of acting are relatively few, McPartlin does have some experience on the field. McPartlin played college football. McPartlin's acting portfolio includes appearances on NBC's Three Sisters as well as a guest-starring spots on The Nanny and Zorro. McPartlin also had a small role in the independent film King of the Ants, starring Ruben Paul and Tedd Taskey. The 6'3" actor is also a board certified personal trainer.

McPartlin makes his Passions debut on April 24th.
