Rumors of Bisco's Exit Persist

Despite the fact that the actress's original role has been restored on Port Charles, rumors persist online that actress
Joy Bisco (
Marissa Leong) will be exiting Port Charles by the end of the show's current book.
Bisco, who first joined Port Charles last year as wayward angel Casey Leong, returned to the show as a contract player in July 2002 after a hiatus of severeal months. Bisco earned rave reviews from fans and critics alike for her portrayal as feisty Casey. Her work as Casey's long-lost twin sister, Marissa, wasn't greeted quite as warmly.
Marissa made her Port Charles departure on January 28th, when twin-sister Casey returned and saved her from almost certain death. However, even with Casey back in town, the chatter that Bisco's days are number continues on.
A spokesperson for Port Charles declined to comment on the rumors, stating that it is not network policy to comment on rumors.
