Bree Williamson Haskell's Marty to return to Llanview

by Dan J Kroll

Susan Haskell (Marty Saybrooke) will return to One Life to Live in February.

Haskell's return is slated to coincide with Todd Manning's latest rape trial. A decade ago, Haskell's character was the victim of a gang-rape led by Todd. Now, ten years later, history is repeating itself: Todd is once again on trial for rape. This time, however, the accuser is his wife, Blair.

The previous rape storyline earned Haskell a Daytime Emmy in 1994 in the Outstanding Supporting Actress category. Haskell, who joined One Life to Live in 1992, later left the show in 1997.

Haskell hasn't been completely away from daytime during her seven year OLTL absence. In 2001, Haskell appeared as Granya Thornhart on ABC's Port Charles. Granya was said to be the late sister of former One Life to Life character Patrick Thornhart and Port Charles resident Ian Thornhart.

Haskell makes her short-term return on February 16th.
