Ty Treadway Seeing double: Is Colin's twin coming to town?

by Dan J Kroll

Though unconfirmed by anyone at One Life to Live, it appears that Ty Treadway (ex-Colin MacIver) is headed back to Llanview.

Treadway, of course, played Colin MacIver on the show, a character that met his demise earlier this Spring. So is Colin going to rise from the dead? Not so, according to Treadway's official web site.

In a message on his official web site, Treadway "confirmed he will be back as a twin." The message goes on to claim that Treadway has already started filming scenes at One Life to Live, scenes that should air in June.

At One Life to Live's Fan Club Luncheon in May, several stars hinted that Treadway was returning to the show. If that's the case, executive producer Gary Tomlin must be out of the loop. Though an admitted "huge fan" of Treadway, Tomlin said earlier in the month that he would have preferred to have never had Treadway's character meet his maker. As for Treadway's return, Tomlin insists that he has heard nothing of Treadway making a return appearance on the show.

Adding another crinkle to rumor is that Ty Treadway was reportedly spotted reading for a role on Passions.

When contacted by soapcentral.com, a spokesperson for the show informed us that it "is not [ABC's] policy to comment on rumors."
