Guiding Light marks a major milestone on January 25th - the show turns 64 years old.


Guiding Light, which started as The Guiding Light in the days of radio serials, bowed on radio on January 25th, 1937. 15 years later, on June 30th, 1952, the program made its debut on television..


This anniversary will feature the broadcast of the show's 13,585th episode.
