Bren Foster cast in renamed new DAYS role

Foster... it's Australian for Quinn. At least on Days of our Lives. Australian actor Bren Foster has been cast as the newly created Quinn, a character that as of last month had an entirely different name.


Days of our Lives has filled one of the three roles that it has been looking to add to the canvas. As first reported by soapcentral.com last month, the NBC soap released casting calls for three different male roles.


Australian actor Bren Foster has been hired for the role of Quinn -- a role that had been referred to as "Fletcher" in a casting call released earlier this year. Viewers shouldn't be alarmed that the character's name has changed. In fact, the names used for casting calls are quite often changed by the time the character gets written into actual scenes.


Foster has worked as both an actor and as a stunt man. He appeared in a few films released domestically in Australia, but will be seen in U.S. theaters later this month in the film War Flowers.


Foster's DAYS debut, however, is still two months away. The actor will first pop up on-screen in early May in scenes with Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane). Beyond that, the show is keeping quiet about Quinn's future storyline.


There is no word on whether or not the show has cast the other roles that it has been seeking to fill.
