Frances Reid, Days of our Lives' beloved Alice Horton, dead at 95
Frances Reid, known to millions of viewers as Alice Horton, the beloved matriarch of Days of our Lives' Horton family, has died. The actress, who once said she would not work on soaps because it was too exhausting, passed away on February 3, 2010. She was 95.

DAYS hires Emmy winner Stuart Damon
Stuart Damon will join the cast of Days of our Lives later this year. The Emmy-winning actor appeared for 30 years as Alan Quartermaine on General Hospital and appeared for several weeks last year on As the World Turns. His new DAYS gig will reunite him with a former on-screen relative.

Judi Evans returning to Days of our Lives
Judi Evans is headed back to Days of our Lives to reprise one of her two Emmy-nominated roles. Evans will return as Adrienne Kiriakis this spring, a role she last played in January 2008. She also appeared as Bonnie Lockhart for four years. Evans has also appeared on Another World, Guiding Light, and As the World Turns.
