Bill Spencer Jr. arrived in Los Angeles to run Spencer Communications upon the death of his father, Bill Spencer Sr. Bill Jr. and his father had a strained relationship, and Bill Jr. never felt like he had any sense of family.
From the start, Bill set his sights on acquiring Forrester Creations. It was eventually revealed that the elder Spencer had asked Bill Jr. to gain control of Forrester Creations from Eric Forrester in order for Bill Jr. to inherit the business and money that his father was leaving Bill Jr. in his will. After having several business meetings with her, Bill took an interest in Katie Logan. Once Bill was finally able to buy Forrester Creations, he made Katie Logan CEO and subsequently asked her to marry him. They were married on November 13, 2009.
