AMC vet Matt Borlenghi joins B&B

After initial reports of his addition to the General Hospital cast turned out to be untrue, Matt Borlenghi (ex-Brian Bodine, All My Children) has finally found a new daytime gig.

Borlenghi has landed a part on CBS's The Bold and the Beautiful. Borlenghi will play Ziggy, an apartment manager. The actor hints that he'll be featured prominently in a front burner May Sweeps storyline.


Borlenghi had been rumored to be General Hospital's "Aiden," a proposed new love interest for Elizabeth Webber.


Following his 1991 to 1993 run on AMC, Borlenghi appeared in a series of failed television programs, including Party Girl and Police Academy: The Series. The actor also has appeared in several feature films.
