Annie Parisse, born Annemarie Cancelmi, joined the cast of As the World Turns in April 1998.
The actress, who was born on July 31, grew up in Mercer Island, Washington with her parents, Lou and Annette, and her brothers, Louis and Michael. She graduated from Fordham College at Lincoln Center, and trained at the Holborne Center for the Performing Arts in London, England.
Her New York theater credits include Bodacious Flapdoodle, Leave It To Beaver Is Dead, Throwin' Bones, and Misalliance at the Roundabout Theatre. In addition, she has appeared regionally in Much Ado About Nothing, and Standards of Beauty. She also performed in various university productions including Farmyard, As You Like It, Love's Labor Lost and Antigone.
Parisse enjoys cooking, reading, opera and the downtown theater scene.
