At a Glance
Tom started his career at the American Observatory Theater in San Francisco and performed in such productions as Bust Stop and Bent. He studied acting with Joan Darling and Alan Rich and has conducted his own acting seminars.
Tom has had guest roles on numerous television shows such as, The Facts of Life, 240 Robert, and Private Practice. His film credits include leading roles in, and Enchanted Evening. Tom has also produced a feature film, Delta Fever, and a television pilot, Odd Jobs.
Tom created the role of Jake McKinnon in February 1985 on the serial Another World. After leaving in 1986, he returned in 1988 and played Jake until the end of the series in 1999 where he brought the role to As the World Turns.
Tom lives in Long Island. The actor is also an accomplished pilot who flies his own planes.
