Brown is best known for her work as Carly Benson Corinthos on the ABC soap General Hospital. She joined the show in April 1996 before exiting the role five years later.

June 2004 "Press Release" claims Sheffer fired as ATWT head writer According to an official-looking press release that has popped up on the Internet, Emmy-winning As the World Turns head writer Hogan Sheffer has been fired. His last date is reported to be Friday, July 2nd.

July 2004 Hendrickson out -- possibly for good It started off as an online rumor, but a show spokesperson now confirms that Emmy winner Benjamin Hendrickson (Hal Munson) will exit As the World Turns by the end of the summer.

August 2004 Mantooth lands role of Hal Former Loving/The City star Randolph Mantooth (ex-Alex Masters, The City/Loving) has landed the recurring role of Hal Munson on As the World Turns. Viewers will remember that Mantooth appeared previously in the role on a temporary basis in 2003.
