Has your mind ever drifted while watching an episode of As the World Turns? Perhaps you've wondered what it might be like to be Jake's main squeeze - or the guy who steals Lily's heart. Well, ATWT fans, this is your chance to ease your way into Oakdale society.

The Early Show will be conducting a very special contest on Wednesday, August 15th in the plaza area outside their New York studio at 59th Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan. The contest will allow soap fans a chance to act in a scene with various As The World Turns stars.
Now for the details: A panel of judges will be screening the screen tests and the top male and female testers will each win a backstage tour of the ATWT studio. The event will run from 7 to 9 am during the live broadcast of
The Early Show. Not all contestants will have their screen tests shown on the air - but selected entries will be played on the nationally broadcast morning show! Contests must "sign in" upon arriving at the plaza. The order in which you arrive will determine the order in which you get to "audition."
