An Older Bonnie to Return

Napiera Danielle Groves will join the As The World Turns cast later this month as Bonnie McKechnie, the 20something daughter of Duncan McKechnie and Jessica Griffin. The writers have opted to "age" the character to her twenties for storyline purposes.
Groves is a newcomer to daytime television, but she does have several motion pictures under her belt. The actress has appeared in Only in America and Airborne. In addition to her film work, Groves is also a singer and recently appeared in the touring version of Dreamgirls. In 1997, Groves won the Miss Congeniality award in the Miss USA pageant.
Groves' first on-air appearance will be August 23rd.
