At a Glance
Lauren Roman joined the cast of All My Children in May, 1995.
Lauren was born in Wilmington, North Carolina and raised primarily in Great
Falls, Virginia. She was an honor student at Langley High School, and spent
two years at the University of Virginia, where she studied acting and starred
in a production of "Me and My Girl."
During her junior year in high school, Lauren got her first professional
acting job as a member of the Kennedy Center's (Washington, D.C.) Traveling
Young Players, which toured with a musical of "Footsteps in the Sky." Lauren
also starred in the title role in a production of "Cinderella" at the
Followspot Theatre Co. in Fairfax, Virginia.
Lauren enjoys downhill skiing, tap dancing, poetry and singing. She has an
affinity for animals, and an interest in philosophy, which she studied while
in college.
