Newcomer Ivan Shaw has been cast as Henry Chin, a young Asian American who will be moving to Pine Valley with his mother.

Little is known about Shaw, except that his All My Children role will be his first major acting gig.

Shaw's character - a contract part - is rumored to be a love interest for Maggie. It's been nearly a decade since an Asian American character has been featured as a contract player on All My Children. The last contract part was An-Li Chen, played by Lindsay Price from 1991 to 1993.

Shaw makes his debut on January 14th.
