After only a little over a month on the job, Michael Conforti has left his position as co-head writer of All My Children.
According to an ABC spokesperson, Conforti will move to General Hospital where he will serve as an associate head writer. In July 2000, prior to his brief stint with AMC, Conforti served in the same capacity at One Life to Live.
Conforti joined All My Children on March 5th as a partner to Jean Passanante. There's been no official word why Conforti has picked up and headed west nor if a replacement will be named.
